      Educator Interview

      Jul 28, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at lululemon in Jul 2014

      Interview

Applied online and received an invitation to the group interview the next day. It said to dress comfortably and luckily I researched online so I wore lululemon. It was early, before the store opened. Myself, another girl, and a guy sat on pillows with an assistant store manager and key leader. We chatted for an hour. I had done some research so knew what to expect. I was just myself and the interview included lots of joking and laughing, very laid back. They asked questions very similar to what is on here already such as: "What do you bring to the world? Name a time you broke the rules and whether it worked out. When was the last time you gave feedback?" They told us they would get back to us within 4 days. On the fourth day I received a call with an invitation to go on a sweat date that week. Mine was at a spin class and I arrived to see both interviewers from the group interview. Also another girl from my group interview was there so be prepared that it might not be a one on one sweat date. I did get to speak with someone one on one for about 20-30 minutes before our class. Instead of asking such scripted questions, we had more of a conversation about my goals and where I see myself and how lululemon would help me get there. I had a great time and they said I'd hear within three days if they wanted to move forward. They gave me a call and said they wanted to move forward to the final stage, an interview with the store manager. I went in to the store and had a brief meeting with the store manager that again was more of a conversation and less like an interview. She hired me on the spot. Overall I would say just feel out the specific store because those are the people who you will be working with and who will ultimately hire you.
