It was simple, quick, and informative. They kept it short and engaging as it didn't drag along too long. They briefly explained the role and benefits too. They asked about my background, challenges and triumphs in my career, what I struggle with , what I am good at.

Very high portfolio review expectations. Have not made it beyond that step yet, but expect there will be further interviews and possibly a design challenge, which is quite a lot of work, given the elevated expectations.

Had a prescreening call, where they asked me my experiences with design systems, and if I was up to date on the latest news regarding Figma. A lot of questions regarding components and news about Config to see if I was up to date.
It was pretty easy overall, but they ultimately filled the role internally.
