Describe a time when you persuade others to do something
Talk about a time you lead a group. What was the outcome?
Given this scenario at the workplace, you have 3 options. (This is for job fit interview). Which of these 3 options would you choose and why. Then they ask you additional follow-up questions for you to back-up your viewpoint.
1. Describe a time when you contributed to a teams success 2. A time when you were responsible for the losses of a team.
First Round - 3 main “Tell me a time when…” questions with related follow-up questions. Followed the STAR method. Powerday - Behavioral: same as first round, Job Fit: not what I was expecting based on what information I was provided in preparation. Less direct questions about your resume and personal learning/working style and more situational questions about how you would motivate a team and propose an idea to your manager Case: classic-style, less math than I expected and more conceptual, easy break-even analysis. Capital One provided videos on their YouTube channel with a practice case study in addition to a recorded “Business Case Study Workshop” which was also helpful! Capital One definitely provided multiple resources to help with interview preparation. Overall a great interview process!
