How comfortable are you using the necessary equipment in the open pit? At breakfast the typical interview questions came up but as the day progressed the more task detailed ones came up.
Could not think of hard one. Just had to think for the right answer for the questions

1. Describe a time where I had to handle a difficult situation and what was the outcome? 2. What experience do I have with safety and/or mining and explain where/how I gained the experience? 3. How would I rate my computer software experience? 4. How would I rate my verbal and writing communication skills? 5. Introduce yourself and discuss your background (where you are from, education, work experience, etc). There were additional questions, that I can't remember. Had to provide a writing sample about why I want to work for MSHA.
