Most unexpected was that the majority of the interview was focused on what questions I had for the interviewer/company - while I had about 5 lined up, I wasn't expecting to have to fill a half an hour session with my own questions.
Why did I want to work for BlogHer
Not really unexpected questions. All were more fact- and skill-checking than "what would you do if you could do anything in the world?" Not much open-ended query.
When can you start? I wasn't expecting it so be prepared to answer.
The intern asked me: "If you had a room, what would you do with it?"
You have to be technically quite competent to get into Cypress. The CEO himself is highly technical with a Ph.D. and stays up to date on technology developments.
