Firstly, there were a couple of general questions, e.g. why I was interested, why I think I would be a good fit, etc., followed by technical questions. The technical questions were broken down into 3 categories: Biology/Life Sciences, Programming and Statistics. The easier questions included "What's the difference between DNA and RNA?", "What is a p-value?" and "What programming language would use to do [blank]?", and became more difficult or focused from there for each category.
