1) Panel Interview - Tells us about yourself, your career history, what do you know about contract flying. Why Sahara? How would you fit in with the crew whilst being away from home for a month or two at time. 2) Basic Test - involving VERY basic Embaer 120 knowledge such as the Embraer 120 Engines, the direction of travel for the nose gear when it's raised, how many seats etc. Know your Civil Aviation Technical Standards (CATs) , CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations), and AWOPS (All-weather Operations). 3) Simulator session - FNPT II simulator at Grand Central airport. Intercept VOR radials, fly an ILS with an engine failure. Most of the flying is done around FALA or FAOR.
