Just one- A scenario- OK, you are flying VNY to TEB. Your fellow pilot just got out of school with his type and You want him to get a landing in. One hour from TEB the weather goes down to 1nm 400ft ceiling. His opinion was- Divert to Richmond where the weather was VFR (300 miles south) of TEB so the new pilot could get his landing and feel good.
