They had a very specific question about safety metrics at my current employer. It wasn't an unreasonable question since it's not the number that really matters (for the purposes of the interview) but the understanding of what's being measured and how, and what actions are taken based on the measurements. I got hung up on the fact that we didn't measure it the same way and rather than using the question to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of our first aid and safety procedures, I said too little because I was concerned that the measure that was asked about was an industry standard that I wasn't aware of.
