Very generic questions, such as: why Zalando, what do you know about Zalando, give me an example of a conflicting situation and how you solved it, what would you do if you had a problem in a project, what would you do if the project runs out of budget, time and scope is changing all the time, how do you deal with pressure, do you have problems working overtime

A question around handling a project where the goal posts were moving, asked in such a way it lent itself more the portfolio manager than the portfolio office manager. .Once again I am suspicious that the role applied for was the one I was interviewed for in this respect. The Portfolio Office Manager would ensure effective governance is in place to formally receive the change as a change request, recognize it as such, arrange impact analysis, determine impact on time. cost and quality and then make recommendations to a Change Approval Board as to its impact on delivery. The question was badly framed for a portfolio office manager.
