In the phone interview, the hiring manager asked about my PhD research experiences (very specific and detailed questions) on both my thesis project and other collaborative projects, future plans, discussed future projects at Amgen. For the full day interview, people asked questions about the presentation, future direction for the PhD project, why this position, future plans, etc. Minimal behavioral questions.
