The take home exercise to comment on their AWS infrastructure/architecture was probably the most challenging. It was very open ended with not a lot of detail, additionally I had talked through some of it with the SVP on engineering already. However I found new things and added on to things we had already discussed. It was a tough by fair assessment IMHO.

The interview process was focused on experience, strengths/gaps, and possible scenarios.

(Interviewer knowing that I held a DOE position) Why do you want to work in a Charter school? As you know the hours are longer, and the pay does not match the DOE salary guide.
