Why do you want this role
General tell me about yourself and interest in this role, or tell me about a time when questions. Relatively simple and flowed nicely.
What would you consider to be your biggest weakness and why? Biggest strength? Tell us about a professional mistake you made. What did you learn from it? Can you talk about ways in which you utilize technology, including video conferencing, Microsoft Excel, teams etc. How would you handle conflict between students and faculty, staff, or administrators? If offered the position, when could you start? Can you talk through your decisions on multitasking, priority assessment, and organization? How would you describe your level of independence on the job? What does an ideal relationship with a supervisor and team look like to you?
Pretty typical questions. One that did throw me was, "why a masters in x topic." Never had employers care before about the topic of my Masters l, but given the nature of the role I guess it makes sense.
Do you know any Spanish?
They were all pretty standard questions regarding experience, interest in the position, etc., with a few scenarios thrown in.
