Questions: Many questions about my unemployment between jobs… these periods were like 3 months and 9 months during a bad economy. These questions had nothing to do with the job and were inappropriate given the bad economy and glut of computer programmers at the time (mid 1980's if I remember correctly). These were trivial questions by obviously inexperienced interviewers who were "managers" but knew absolutely nothing about computer programming and were unable to evaluate me.
