The most unexpected question I got on the first in-house interview was: one of the guys brought in a large plastic bag of Cheerios, placed it on the table and asked me to tell him how many Cheerios were in the bag, and by the way I have 60 seconds to do so. He was actually interested in the thought process I went through, not the count. But it was very strange.
