The interview focused on evaluating comprehension and language skills through structured exercises rather than direct questioning. It included short audio clips and written texts, each presented for approximately one minute, followed by multiple-choice questions designed to assess understanding, interpretation, and attention to detail. In addition, there was a reading component where I was asked to read a text aloud. This part of the process aimed to evaluate pronunciation, fluency, and overall clarity in the language. Overall, the process was more performance-based, centered on demonstrating comprehension and communication abilities in real time rather than responding to traditional interview questions.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years
They were absolutely lovely, very personable and down to earth. Honestly did not feel like an interview but a nice conversation. The questions were rather generic and mostly competency based e.g. Name a time you have made a mistake, Why do you want to work for UE? Why should we hire you? Tell me a time that you have handled a difficult situation/ customer) There were quite a few questions if I remember correctly. For the role play I was given two scenarios to listen and respond to. The scenarios were based on a pre-recorded telephone call and then I was asked how I would handle each case. The first was a vulnerable member who was asking for help, and the second was an angry customer who just had his energy supply cut off.
