They want to know about your past experience and asked questions based on that. Experience of partnerships with BO units to implement policies, coach and guide them to become better leaders and manage their teams. Hypothetical scenario - Your business unit has asked you to hire 90 people how would you go about the process. Do you challenge them on the number of hires, do you consider budgets, level of hires, etc. Hiring manager was very polite and gave structured feedback and recommendations.
