1st round of interview was with the product owner and scrum master of a team, it went well and they really asked nice and interesting questions based on STAR principles and I was able to clear it. 2nd round was a assignment which included 2 tasks, 1st one was related to automating the API's. They had given a httpbin API and asked to automate the scenario's with any framework and programming language which I am comfortable with, but this API did not really contained a good documentation and based on that I had automated it using data driven framework with Java. They reviewed it and gave the negative feedback. The API which they asked me to use as AUT is the cause for failure for me to qualify I believe, because the same framework I have implemented in my current company 3 years back and till date we are using and it runs successfully. 2nd was the scenario based questions related to Quality assurance, I answered all of them, but they gave the feedback mentioning "testing approaches did not show a good level of understanding for QA in general", they could have given the answers during their feedback, so would have got a chance to know how better they could have handled it.
