I explained that I had originally assumed the Controller role covered the entire organization, but I remained interested because the opportunity aligned with my values, allowed for remote work, and offered the chance to contribute meaningfully to a mission I deeply respect.

Pretty standard question about my work experience, what I was expecting in my next position. Also lot of "describe a situation where" questions (ie. where you got negative feedback, where you made a mistake and how did you handle it, where you want above whats in your job description...)
