Phone Screen, Take Home Project, On-site Interview
First Interview: The initial interview was structured as a conversation, allowing both parties to gain a deeper understanding of each other. The focus was on discussing my experience and exploring how it aligned with the company's objectives and values. This approach fostered a positive and open dialogue. Second Interview: My experience with the Hiring Manager during the second interview was highly positive. The session encompassed a comprehensive assessment of my skills and suitability for the role. The discussion involved a range of behavioral questions that gauged my ability to handle various scenarios. Additionally, I encountered some straightforward technical questions to evaluate my proficiency in the relevant tech stack. Third Interview: During the third interview, I was presented with a coding challenge centered around a ReactJS project. Following specific requirements and a design file, I diligently worked on the task. Throughout the process, I maintained constant communication with the interviewer, enabling him to gain insight into my thought process. Although I encountered an unfortunate internet connection issue during the interview, I promptly reconnected a minute later. However, I remain uncertain if this had any impact on the final decision. One aspect that stood out was I noticed something unusual during the interview. The interviewer was vaping, which, in my personal opinion, appeared somewhat unprofessional, particularly in the context of an interview setting. This review encapsulates my experience during the interview process. It is essential for both interviewers and candidates to uphold professionalism and ensure a conducive environment for meaningful interactions.
