k8s - deployment, services, ingress, liveness / readiness probes. helm - how to automate testing using helm charts terraform - what are modules or why do we use it? Stress on code reusability, smaller pieces of code practice. The person interviewing seemed very nervous and inexperienced for a senior Site Reliability Engineer position . He was not interested in the candidate's previous experience but had some basic questions about AWS, kubernetes, terraform, and helm chart. The person seemed to be waiting for the answer he has in his mind and once you utter those "exact" words, he will proceed to the next question. There is no back and forth discussion or exploratory questions to understand the depth of knowledge. What is more important is that the person gets borderline angry and gets agitated when I ask some 'ways of working in the team' related questions. The team structure is very unorganized and seemed to lack team player mentality.
