Exercise #1 - Business Requirements for a new Product Offering The founder of your company comes to you and tells you that he's got a great idea for a product. He would like to build a Task Management solution that helps software companies keep track of all the work (tasks, calendars, documents) involved in developing software. His development team has been complaining about using JIRA to track development progress and he's convinced that the company could build a better solution. How would you evaluate the pros and cons of this decision? What approach would you take in analyzing the opportunity? What would be your recommendation? Assuming the new product offering has been approved, how would you start with documenting requirements? Pick one key feature of this new product and provide the requirements. (Don’t get hung up on methodology, it’s more important to be clear and concise.)
