CEO asked I am an "odd job" person because of the diverse writing projects I've had in my career - a mix of marketing communications and different technical writing (manuals, online help, content for the customer portal, for the technical support staff). He also said he was perplexed at my career path, and he didn't seem to realize that tech writers OFTEN do a mix of writing such as web copy writing, RFP, marketing collateral on top of guides and "traditional" tech pubs.
