How do you manage a project / program with teams across different geographies, time zones, languages & cultures? I expected this question and it was asked more than once. This is a complex question as it calls into ones various skills: communication, organizational, physical and mental stamina and schedule flexibility.
The second interviewer asked for me to describe a project/system I had developed or managed. The interviewer seemed very focused on how I "used servers" in that deployment.
The interviewer asked me about how I would manage a conflict between 2 colleagues which affected one of them personally
Following the interview I was asked to prepare a line item budget in Excel.
Nothing complex, simple things like what you're doing now and where you want to be in the next year or so. Discuss culture and what not.
Standard questions about experience and skill related to the job.
Every interviewer will ask standard boiler plate question -- If you have specific type of scenario, how do you handle it? For example, if you have difficult project that missed deadline, how do you handle it. If one person asks these kind of questions, that's okay. Five people, one after other, asked similar kind of hypothetical questions, non-stop.
Won't be able to disclose - Just be honest in the entire process about the work which you have done. The company seeks people with strong domain hold, bright ideas along with management skills.
