In the technical interview DBMS concepts were asked. There were total 6-7 DBMS questions which included concepts such as RDBMS, types of index, difference between clustered and non clustered indices, normalization and denormalization,and many other questions which I don't clearly remember. They asked to write nearly 7-8 sql queries. Then 3-4 software engineering questions were asked which included sdlc model, agile method, etc. Next to it they asked a few business related questions like what do you think investment is, what is business requirements specification, etc. Then 3-4 puzzles were asked. And then few questions based on my resume. In the end they asked me about the role that I had applied for, i.e. BTSA. And they asked me why I think that I'm fit for the role. I got shortlisted for the final round. In the final round, they asked me to introduce myself. Asked a few questions on my resume and the projects I have done, and techstack I'm comfortable with. Then they asked 1-2 puzzles and a guesstimate. One question was asked which was based on data analysis. Then they asked what I know about ZS and also asked me to describe the role I had applied for. And this was all about the interview questions.

All questions were difficult in their own domain but for me the toughest question was the situational problem because each time i answered it, they presented me with more worse situation and this went on for more than 10 minutes. They were basically trying to analyse the perspective in which a person look at things.

Case stud, ZS cases are periodically updated by a panel of current employees and the quality of cases is very high. They give heavy importance to detail. Go through the case thoroughly and dont be afraid to get any clarifications from the interviewer if required.
