Why did you study x instead of y? Why did you study at D instead A? Why have you not been promoted to a higher position at your current employer? Why are you interested in sales? Explain how will perform? Why do you not go work at z? Where else have you applied? Who else is interviewing you? Why do you think you will be successful?

Honestly, the GE interviews were remarkably easy and relaxed - almost as if they had already decided to hire me and that it was just a formality. That is not what I have heard from others. One person told me that HR drilled him until he thought he was going to faint (questions like - define what process is?). So your mileage may vary.
