Did not expect them to ask technical questions, but was able to answer them. 1. How do you value a company? Walk me through your steps. 2. Does a utility firm or a biotech firm have a higher PE? 3. How do you calculate WACC? 4. How would you recommend a firm to optimize its WACC? 5. FCFF vs FCFE 6. Others are all behavioral. Know your DCF and basic valuation methods. Be personable.
Some of the probing technical questions regarding the accounting guidance were challenging but not unexpected.
