There was no regular interview, no unexpected questions. Screening test results decided final candidates and communication with the supervisor was being done completely via email (not only during selection process, but also during the project).
For the initial interaction they don't really ask you any questions other than what happens on the tests but you are told, and they're clear, that what you're doing is really also a test of your ability to work on projects alone and handle your own tech support when necessary.
