This is not a question, but the in-house skills test required on-the-fly coding knowledge, which was intimidating since I have just been copy and pasting so many trivial pieces of code over the years. I consider myself very advanced; I don't think having a "cheat sheet" handy or something of the like really effects a coder's level of skill. In fact, I think it makes the process much smoother and faster.

I was presented with a design problem that I had to whiteboard regarding the client being a flower vender that orders flowers from all over the world and has clients that require reoccurring orders as well as one time orders. They need the ability to set the pricing on an order by order basis depending on supply/demand. In general, this UI wouldn't be terribly difficult to organize well but in this situation, with the pressure, it was difficult to think things out clearly.
