They focused heavily on technical processes for organizing and prioritizing client emails, but given their poor communication throughout the hiring process (multiple reschedules, no feedback despite requests, lack of transparency in decisions), it's ironic they emphasize email management skills when they clearly struggle with basic professional correspondence themselves. The disconnect between what they expect from candidates and their own communication standards was telling.
