How do, in your personal life, incorporate the values of Parks Canada, and can you give one specific example?
Mostly around managing staff through change, my thoughts on staff management, my view on what great customer service is and asking me to talk through examples of managing staff in both good and difficult situations.
The first question was for me to explain how my experience makes me suited to the job description. They then asked me situational questions, such as "you see a senior member of staff giving the wrong factual information about an exhibition display to some visitors, what do you do?"
I was asked how I would deal with homeless people that are often in the area (and may cause a problem with guests).
What would you do if you arrived at a home visit, and the mother with whom you usually worked was not present; instead the father answered the door. He said: okay, here play with the baby.
