They asked me to assess my seniority level regarding the role needs, technical abilities, clarity and honesty. They asked me how I can transfer my international experience and add value to the team, and how familiar I am with standards and surface water engineering processes.
What do you do in your free time?
There were no unexpected question in my opinion. The job was a business solutions/IT/engineering job which I had 2 years of relevant experience in. Most of the questions where specific to projects I worked on that, coincidentally, ARCADIS did consulting on.
What do you know about the company and why do you want to join our team?
They asked me questions about my internship experience and what I had learned from it. They also asked about my capstone project in senior year of college. From my experience, they were mostly checking how well I could hold a conversation and talk informatively about each of my experiences.
