Interview
National recruiter calls you and after serval questions aligns you and the company with a time to interview. I met with the sales manager. He was unprofessional and discredited my hard work and made numerous assumptions about myself. One of the biggest draw backs was I went for the Comfort Advisor role and this sales manager, even when presented with my performance numbers said I would have been better suited as a ‘rehash’ guy. What that basically means is nearly cutting my pay scale by 1/2 or more because the sales manager thought I was only ‘8 years out of high school’ and some how though I had been out for much longer I was unable to perform this job?
Previous interviews have all been for outside sales just as I thought this was before meeting. Perhaps the sales manager was a little jealous when I told him I made multiple 6 figures last year in my role in sales and perhaps internally there was conflict as I noticed he had very little to say and he tried to just see how experienced I truly was. When I began to tell him how technically versed in HVAC I was, how I spent the last 4 years training to become better and to be where I am at today, it was just ignored.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself? Looks like you did door to door… why did you leave that if you were good at it? You wouldn’t like this job it is 1099 and no salary, sounds like you’re used to a salary right?
