      Description Buckhead Beef is a leading wholesale supplier of freshly cut steaks, seafood, specialty meats, and other protein products to foodservice operations through its parent, #1 foodservice supplier SYSCO Corporation. The company specializes in certified Angus beef, but it also offers exotic meats (such as alligator tenderloin, ostrich steaks and buffalo burgers), and wild game and fowl. Buckhead Beef has processing facilities in Florida, Georgia, and New Jersey; its products are distributed to customers mostly along the Eastern Seaboard. Founded in 1983, the company was acquired by SYSCO in 1999.
