Description CTL|Thompson, Inc. is a consulting engineering firm offering geotechnical, materials, environmental and structural engineering services, construction observation, soil and materials testing, and forensic engineering. We provide these services throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond, including offices located in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Summit County and Glenwood Springs. CTL|Thompson, Inc. is the result of the 1977 merger of Robert W. Thompson, Inc., established in 1971, and Commercial Testing Laboratories, established in 1947. The company has grown in capabilities and staff to support client needs since the merger. The largest geotechnical and materials engineering firm headquartered in Denver, CTL|T has over 250 full-time employees with seasonal variation. Approximately 200 of these individuals are professional or technical. Our staff includes Geotechnical, Materials, Environmental and Structural Engineers, Engineering Geologists, and certified environmental professionals. We have completed more than 100,000 projects over the past 50+ years. Projects range from major infrastructure systems in both the private and public sectors to single family dwellings. CTL|T has worked on hundreds of projects for and in the City and County of Denver and is very familiar with practices and procedures as well as geotechnical conditions.
