Founded in 1992 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa—where we remain proudly headquartered—GreatAmerica Financial Services began as the vision of Tony Golobic, an entrepreneur who built the company from the ground up with a deep commitment to integrity, service, and long‑term relationships. Tony's value-driven approach continues to shape who GreatAmerica is today.

Tony now serves as Executive Chairman, staying deeply connected to the company’s mission while championing strategic growth, cultural continuity, and the long-term success of our customers and team members. His legacy of hard work, humility, and treating people the right way remains a cornerstone of the culture.

Today, GreatAmerica is guided by CEO Martin Golobic, who has spent his career growing through a wide range of roles within the company—including Credit Analyst, Vendor Relationship Manager, Regional and National Account Manager, Director of Operations – New Strategic Opportunities, and Vice President & General Manager of our Connected Technology Group. This hands-on experience informs his leadership as he sets the vision for the future of GreatAmerica, IRH Capital, and all subsidiary organizations, especially as GreatAmerica continues to evolve into a more digitally enabled business.

Martin holds a B.A. in Economics from Colorado College and remains active in the Cedar Rapids community, serving on boards such as the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre.
