IMC is a leading market maker in exchange traded instruments active on over 100 exchanges, platforms and pools of liquidity across the world. Our commercial success reflects our ability to develop strategies and technologies that enhance our competitive position and aid the efficiency and transparency of financial markets for all market participants.

IMC is a privately-held company founded in Amsterdam in 1989 by two traders working on the open outcry floor of Europe’s first options exchange. Today we have offices in Amsterdam, Chicago, Sydney and Hong Kong and employ just over 500 people.

Difference Maker.

One of our core values is to take responsibility for others as well as ourselves. So giving back and social commitment are integral and vibrant parts of our culture. Through the IMC Foundation, we focus our efforts in three different ways: Global giving, local giving, and employee involvement.

GLOBAL

Our largest unified effort is an annual Trading Day for Charity where the proceeds from an entire day of trading across all IMC offices are donated to a cause chosen by employees.

LOCAL

Each office has a dedicated fund to support local causes, with a primary focus on organizations that improve access to opportunities for young people. Examples of the kind of work that we fund include: schools for low income children, programs that use sports to teach life skills, robotics programs, and career education.

EMPLOYEE

Each year, our employees across the globe donate time, talent and money to more than 300 nonprofits serving the community in areas from social service and animal and environmental welfare to medical research. Our offices organize volunteer opportunities and we also support causes employees care about by donating in recognition of their service and/or matching their donations.
