We believe every student has the ability to achieve his or her full potential. Our personalized in-home, one-on-one tutoring method allows our Learning Coaches to nurture the skills and techniques needed for our students to become life-long learners.
We provide one-on-one tutoring and test preparation services throughout the entire Metro DC-area. We have over 400 tutors specializing in all subject areas and grade levels from Pre-K to college, test prep, as well as adult professional development.
All Novastar instructors have the following qualifications:
+ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, over 75% have Master's degrees
+ Teaching experience in their selected discipline
+ Excellent references
+ Thorough background check completed
+ Genuine passion for education and belief in the transformative role that one-on-one tutoring plays in a student's personal development
