Maverik started when a young man from Wyoming decided to open a business in his home town. In 1928, 20-year-old Reuel Call opened a two-pump gas station in Afton, Wyoming with money he earned from renting roller skates. The business soon grew, and he started providing fuel to surrounding towns and ranches. Now, Maverik is known as the best place to energize your body and fuel your vehicle for whatever adventure life throws at you! In August 2023, Maverik acquired Kum & Go, bringing together two well-loved brands under one company. As we continue to unify our stores, we’re expanding our commitment to convenience, adventure, and opportunity across our 800+ locations in 20 states. Oregano’s is Your Neighborhood Italian Joint. Oregano’s was created to honor the values of our founder’s parents, Jack and Shirley, whose portrait hangs inside each of our locations. The aroma of fresh garlic bread, shelves of nostalgic antiques, and big band music reminds you of Italian suppers at home. Since our founding in 1993, we’ve opened over 21 locations. Each building and, in turn, each kitchen are a little bit different, but the food and hospitality are always the same. We also have a takeout only location in Tempe, down the road from our historic University location!

Martin & Bayley (dba Huck's Food and Fuel) operates about 100 Huck's convenience stores and three travel centers in mostly in Illinois and Indiana, but also in Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The company operates a commissary at its warehouse in Carmi, Illinois to supply sandwiches and other food items to its stores. Founders Bob Martin and Frank Bayley formed a partnership in 1960. In 1974, they opened the first Huck's convenience store in Illinois. Family-owned since its inception, Martin & Bayley became a 100% employee-owned corporation in 2001, when the Martin and Bayley families sold their stakes in the company.
