We develop, produce and distribute equipment and consumables for medicine and science. We are recognized worldwide as one of the leading suppliers in this industry. The company has continued to grow to a workforce of 3,000 individuals in 36 sales organizations and 15 production sites around the world.
Products and services!
Our products and solutions serve preventive health care, the diagnosis of diseases, and research and science. As a global supplier, we stand for a broad product portfolio that is divided into the three main divisions of Diagnostics, Life Science and Laboratory Automation. We combine customized product solutions for our customers with maximum process reliability, precision and cost-effectiveness. We analyze and initiate industry trends and innovations that help to improve medical care worldwide.
We offer a comprehensive range of services from a single source: from the initial idea to the sale. The majority of our products are developed in our research and development center. We manufacture almost 90 percent of our products in our own production facilities and distribute most of them worldwide through our own sales organizations. The occupational health and safety of our employees is a high priority for us in our day-to-day operations.
Strategically, we combine continuous investments in our national and international locations with the best possible alignment of the entire SARSTEDT Group to the requirements of the future. In addition to the international rollout of a new SAP ERP system, the construction of a new multifunctional administration building at our Nuembrecht site, the modernization of working environments and time models, and the expansion of our communications management and IT infrastructure are just a few of our current projects.
With our SARSTEDT-News we will further promote internal communication in the future in order to make procedures and processes more transparent for our employees and to keep our team informed about important as well as interesting topics..

The individual and demand focused promotion of our apprentices is also a top priority for us. This is one reason why we have been awarded the "Excellent Training Company" seal of quality by Germany's largest independent certifier of training companies. The anonymous survey of our own apprentices, whose independent evaluation, with a share of 70%, forms the basis for receiving the award made it special and most valuable.
Through our cooperation with the Technical University of Cologne at the Gummersbach Campus, we are always looking to connect with young talent; with the goal of establishing lasting partnerships.
