Mission We exist to enable the growth and long-term success of our ecommerce customers. A reliable and scalable fulfillment partner is fundamental to the prosperity of any business shipping physical products, and in the world of commerce, it’s equally important to be future-focused. We pride ourselves in staying ahead of the curve and we work closely with our customers to anticipate and support their evolving needs.
Description Headquartered in Silicon Valley, the Shipwire team celebrates its history of innovation and is committed to upholding that legacy.
In 2006, the then-startup was launched, driven by a mission to enable Enterprise Logistics for Everyone ®. At the time, there were few options to enable growing brands and retailers to access professional warehousing and fulfillment operations, and Shipwire’s cloud-based software bridged a major gap in the burgeoning ecommerce market.
In late 2013, Shipwire was acquired by Ingram Micro and evolved alongside the demand in ecommerce to become a strategic part of the company’s 3PL offering. Under Ingram Micro, Shipwire’s reach expanded globally and its capabilities matured to serve the growing complexity of customer demands.
Fast forward to 2021, CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of CMA CGM Group, acquired the majority of Ingram Micro’s 3PL business, including Shipwire. In doing so, CEVA Logistics accelerates its ecommerce expertise and Shipwire will support an increasingly diverse portfolio of brands while benefiting from an enormous global warehouse footprint and additional logistics capabilities.
While Shipwire’s startup days have long passed, an approachable, friendly, all-hands-on-deck attitude lives on. Our team is talented and gets things done, but we love new ideas, fresh humor, and having fun together. If you’re seeking a diverse, welcoming team that cares about employees and customers, check out our open roles and help us pave the way for the future of logistics.
