Yardi started out as a handful of software developers focused on quality software and customer satisfaction. Along with formulating strategy and tactics to serve clients better, more than 400 members of the Yardi global sales team united around an additional goal during a recent internal conference: contribute to the community. Team Yardi at Sales Conference event tailored packages for nonprofits forming 22 community service teams and competing in relay races to gather items, the sales force undertook the challenge of assembling care packages for four Santa Barbara, California, area nonprofits: New Beginnings, Good Samaritan Shelter, Transition House and the YMCA of Greater Santa Barbara – Noah’s Anchorage.
