Pros

Benefits are not too bad.

Cons

While working at Aevex Aerospace my experience was deeply disappointing. The company was involved in unethical and fraudulent activities that compromised both employee and customer trust. This created a toxic work environment where transparency was lacking, and employees were often pressured to participate in or turn a blind eye to these practices. Support from corporate was nearly non-existent. Despite repeated requests for guidance and assistance, there was little to no response, leaving employees to fend for themselves in challenging situations. This lack of support extended to basic operational needs and made it difficult to perform our jobs effectively. Beware of taking a job here

Pros

This company fosters a relaxed and supportive work environment, offering a high degree of flexibility when it comes to work hours. They understand that life outside of work can sometimes require attention, and as such, they are extremely accommodating if personal matters arise. Whether it's a last-minute appointment or an unexpected situation, the company prioritizes a healthy work-life balance, making it easier for employees to manage both their professional and personal responsibilities without unnecessary stress.

Cons

This company has a concerning approach when it comes to determining compensation, often offering pay that is not aligned with an individual's experience or qualifications. Instead of basing salaries on relevant skills, experience, or industry standards, the company tends to offer higher starting wages based primarily on the employee's age or connections, rather than merit. The older an individual is, the more likely they are to receive a higher starting pay, regardless of whether their level of experience justifies it. This practice can feel unfair and discouraging to employees who may have more relevant experience or skills but are offered lower compensation simply due to their age or lack of personal connections within the company. The company's promotion process is heavily influenced by a "buddy system," where advancement opportunities are largely determined by who you know rather than the quality of your work. This often leads to situations where individuals who have strong connections within the company are favored for promotions, even if others are more qualified or have put in more effort. As a result, the hardest-working employees tend to get overlooked, leading to frustration and feelings of inequity. This favoritism creates a toxic work environment, where morale suffers, and employees feel demotivated or undervalued, knowing that their contributions are less likely to be recognized or rewarded unless they are part of the right social circle. The overall impact is a culture that undermines hard work and fosters resentment among team members.

Pros

Great capabilities and some really great people working hard

Cons

CEO surronded by enablers. Nepotism he thinks we don't see, continuing to pay for incompetent family and friends and pushing competent people out who think and talk different. Existing work is drying up and senior leaders already shifting blame for lack of new contracts
