Pros

Your work is rewarded with a high salary, but not much else apart from that.

Cons

Although you are contracted to 45 hours, its not possible to do your job in this amount of time, so a realistic week looks more like 55-60hours, if not more. If you take this into consideration, the salary really isn't that impressive. You are expected to reach a lot of unrealistic targets, and when you ask for support you are met with the beloved phrase of "you're paid the big bucks for a reason" and "if this job isn't for you, then don't do it". If you're not performing as expected (which anyone rarely is due to the nature of the role), you will be berated and given "opportunity" to resign. The company breeds a culture of competition, and it feels like your coworkers are waiting to see you fail, rather than support you to succeed. I can honestly not recommend Aldi as an employer. You will lose sense of who you are as a person, Aldi will consume you and you will be burnt out.
