Cons

You will never grow in this company.. I was told that there would be a lot of growth and utilization at ASEA. Instead I got shot down for any position I wanted to go for. I was very persistent in asking for things to do and I was pro active in asking for possible growth in different positions if I applied .. Instead, The COO (Jarom Webb) of the company told one of the ECs that they didn't have the "Bandwidth" to help me grow, and that they couldn't even spare a couple dollar raise because of budget cuts and that they were not giving any raises to anyone at this time. A few days later, while sitting in an HR mtg they brought up an employees name who requested a raise and it got approved.. I was shocked ! I was told there would be no room for a dollar or two raise! I felt betrayed and lied too. I was dependable and cheerful , I came with a smile on my face and greeted everyone with kindness. They had no intentions on ever moving me out of the Receptionist position after being there for nearly 2 years.. I made it known that I was needing growth and opportunity and all anyone would ever say to me was " We just love you as our Receptionist" I felt over looked and tossed at sea. I finally got so frustrated I decided to change my life and get out of that toxic environment. I was able to find a better paying job with the things I needed to succeed. They have their favorites in that company and I was not one of them, It is definitely a "Good ol' Boys Club".. I am not the only one who feels this way. I wanted to use my voice to speak for myself and the others who are to afraid they may lose their job out of the frustration they have from going completely unnoticed.

Pros

free product, snacks, soda fountain

Cons

Lack of organization, communication, and planning. Decisions are made by 12 men (known as the EC- Executive Committee) who sit in a room and contradict the suggestions provided by the experts they hired. The stress level is astronomical. One person had a heart attack when the executives changed talking points days before a conference. HR was not helpful and contributed to issues. One female employee went to HR with screenshots proving harassment from their male manager and HR told the female employee to, "Think about how stressful their manager's job is, they are providing for their family, and to cut them some slack." They didn't address the issue and later that female employee got let go.

Pros

Good pay Free products Good benefits

Cons

Females need not apply. Months after they received complaints of being prejudice towards women, and bringing in a consultant to supposedly help with the situation, the leadership team fired or forced out every female in leadership in the sales and marketing teams. They elevate leaders with known behavior problems (bullying and having outbursts in meetings) and intimidate employees to not share how things are really going for fear of their jobs. Not to mention the leadership team is stuck with analysis paralysis and cancels projects after employees have worked on them for months. They preach to be a company with ethics but they didn't even let managers decide who they would let go and haphazardly dismantled entire teams.
