Pros

The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with a generous number of holidays, making it attractive in terms of compensation and work-life balance. The well-established nature of the company provides stability for those who want to coast until retirement.

Cons

The non-technical managers even do not schedule shift rotations nor arrenge gaps for holiday season. They ask it to the employees/engineers to handle within the team.

Pros

The technology with which one works is absolutely fascinating and unique. And you will be working with colleagues from many different backgrounds.

Cons

ASML frequently shows itself to have outgrown its systems and governance. I can't speak for other departments, as manufacturing seems mostly divorced from everything else, but in the factories your work and, even more, career is constantly haunted by bosses and systems from when this was a "relatively obscure dutch company" and haven't kept up with the fact this is now, supposedly, a modern company. As a senior colleague frequently says: "We work in the largest backyard company in the world."
