Pros

Flexible work schedules and work from home opportunities for most office positions. Frequent merit increases and bonuses to keep staff engaged and feeling valued. Quick career advancement based on college degree void of any real world experience. A growing company with tons of potential!

Cons

Company is divided between Canada and USA. Each side of the business is extremely passive aggressive towards each other and never deals directly with issues. Canadian Senior leadership is too high level and lacks empathy. USA leadership is more practical down to earth and never taken seriously by Canadian leadership. In both cases middle-managements has a high level of turnover due to burn out and lack of support from senior leadership. Company hiring practices have shifted to obtaining staff who are cheaper and hold a college degree rather than real world experience.

The company is one of the leaders in the industry. There's a casual office atmosphere and generally it's very easy to negotiate PTO.

Cons

It's very difficult to get recognized by upper management unless you are involved with that group on a regular basis. Poor communication amongst departments.
