      Great People, Terrible Culture

      Pros

      The people doing the work are great, smart people if you can cut it but...

      Cons

      The people higher up in the director to CTO leave alot to be desired. In 2024, they releveled everyone's job title with either a lateral move or a downgrade. In the QA department, they laid off quite a few people with no explanation as to why. They start mass hiring in India to replace those who were let go. The writing is on the wall.

      Coworkers are great Remote work

      Cons

      This company used to be great but recently there was a lot of upper management change that drove Alkami into the ground. There are unreasonable expectations set by management that require you to work ridiculous hours in order to meet them. If you complain you will either be ignored or fired. There are multiple initiatives happening at the same time with impossible timelines and upper leadership constantly over promises to the clients. Also expect a 0% raise. If you’re applying for a SDET role be VERY cautious
