Pros

Work is cool. Smart people. Sweet benefits.

Cons

Sexism - blatant and cloaked, in-line with tech culture. If you're not "one of the boys", you'll be excluded from meetings and important decisions. No solid leadership - flat hierarchy results in no clear direction or goal. No training. No consistency - every team uses its own program management and issue tracking software. And PM/TPM means something different on every team. The products don't actually work. What we're selling doesn't match what we actually have built. Testing is a nice-to-have, which won't scale for large UAVs. A good chunk of these positive reviews come from an all-hands where poor interview practices/feedback was brought up and the solution was telling employees to flood Glassdoor with positive reviews vs fixing practices.

Pros

Anduril’s core mission is more critical than ever, especially given the growing threat of peer-to-peer conflicts. The need for change is urgent, and their work plays a vital role in shaping the future of defense and security. The company offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, along with appreciated perks like company-wide breakfast and lunch, fostering a strong and motivated workforce.

Cons

Anduril’s internal culture is plagued by toxic elitism and unchecked negativity, creating a work environment that is both discouraging and unprofessional. Unlike my experience at a prime defense company—where strong leadership actively curbed such behavior—Anduril lacks the necessary oversight to prevent toxic attitudes from taking root. A significant factor in this issue appears to be the promotion of engineers into leadership roles despite their lack of experience in mentorship, management, and team-building. As a result, I have witnessed teams openly disparage individuals both inside and outside the company, even going so far as to blacklist potential hires. For a newer employee, this creates an incredibly demotivating atmosphere. This culture is not emerging in isolation—it is being cultivated, trickling down through the ranks, and setting the stage for future toxic leaders. Without deliberate intervention, this problem will only grow, ultimately damaging morale, innovation, and the company’s ability to attract and retain top talent.

Pros

It’s great working for a modern company. Most of the employees are nice, company provides food snacks and alcohol. Company is always moving forward and you feel like the company has a great idea of where they are headed. Work life balance is great here!

Cons

Terrible structure, extreme lack of awareness when it comes to how a business should operate. A lot of nepotism in this place from hiring to even vendor selection and career advancement. Very throw money at it mentality. Never thought I’d see high school social circles make a professional come back. Get treated like a third class citizen. People are drinking in the office, you see the IT team at happy hour more than you see them work.
