Pros

Challenging and Dynamic Work Environment: The fast-paced atmosphere provides exposure to various areas of financial services, fostering professional growth for proactive individuals.

Cons

Management and Culture Concerns: Some employees report a toxic environment with self-centered management, limited career development, and a lack of support from managers. Demanding Work Hours: Long working hours, often up to 12 hours a day, are common. Taking vacation days may negatively impact bonuses, and work-life balance is often poor. Compensation Issues: While high performers may be rewarded, others find compensation below industry standards, with minimal career progression and inadequate support for learning new skills.

Pros

Good location. Secure parking. Beautiful facility

Cons

Service center manager was a control freak... And a closet racist... A womanizer who only liked women in sales if they were bringing him money to make his bonus.... His cheapness was the worst ever especially on company events... But on sales events he would go all out to make himself look good..... Salaried personnel were required to work 10 to 14 hour shifts and if they worked a short shift they had to make it up later or deal with his wrath.... He would talk horrible about people and make plan to get rid of those he did not like No matter what their family situation .. Medical or emergency might be. Not a family atmosphere at all nor a happy place to work.... People were scared of the old dominion open door policy because of the wrath they would have to deal with Locally. Many of the middle management were amazing but those that were his loyal followers were only puppets And were not trusted either.

Pros

The talk a good game and they care about the employees the like

Cons

They acquire other companies. Then try to find places for the employees of the company they purchase. But if they don't think your personality is a good fit then they get what knowledge they can. Depending on the department there is little to no training. They encourage you to ask questions but when you do they tell you that your not a good fit and you ask too many questions and offer you a severance package or a pipp. The leaders do nothing to help you succeed instead they tell you if you take the pipp you will be fired at the end of 45 days. During this time they have the new people shadow you and tell you they have money to spend on training but have not used it. It takes them 4 years to do this and they are doing it to people that have been working in that industry for over 20 years but claim they are all about their employees. Not providing the training needed for your employees to be successful is not taking care of your employees. Offering severance package after someone has been in a department for 4 years with no written warning because you don't think their personality is a good fit and think Offering a severance package makes it ok to treat people like that is wrong on so many levels.
